Playback markers are also useful for showing timers on the stage screen to a specific point in the media file. In the Playback Markers tab, you can add Markers at specific points of an audio or video file to perform various actions, such as trigger a Macro, fire a MIDI cue, or change the stage screen layout and more. In the Audio tab, you can adjust the volume of a specific channel, or adjust the routing of a specific channel. In the Effects tab, you can choose a specific Effect, or Effect Preset for a video or image file. Re-Trigger Modifications are available starting in the 7.13.1 update, available to everyone with a ProPresenter+ date of 05/10/23. This will tell you how long the media item is given you have set a custom In and/or Out point. You will also see an area for duration for audio and video files. You can also set in and out points, and adjust the delay time and play rate. ![]() In the Properties tab, you should see Alignment, Scaling, Cropping, Rotation, Playback Behavior, Re-Trigger Modifications, as well as end behavior for the media actions. In the Information tab, you should see the Media Action Name, the Thumbnail and a way to set a custom thumbnail, and the Details of the specific media cue you are previewing. ![]() ![]() You can hover your mouse over each icon for a tooltip to show which section the mouse is hovering over. The tabs at the top, should you select an item that has these attributes, are Information about the file, Properties of the file, a specific Transition for the file, Effects on the file, Audio properties of the file, and Playback Markers set for the file. For example, you would not see the Audio tab or Playback Markers tab on an image. If you are inspecting multiple media items, you will see a dropdown at the top left to show you which item you are inspecting. The tabs at the top right will only show up for the specific media items that you are viewing in the Inspector. Looking at the Inspector for a Video, you will see the entire left side is the Preview Area, and you can see the time elapsed/remaining, Playback Markers, and view Transport Controls. This will allow you to change certain aspects of the specific file you are inspecting. The Inspector is available for media items, such as Images, Videos, and Audio. The Media Inspector User interface can be seen by right clicking on a media item in the media bin, or the audio bin, or a media item within a Document, and choosing “Inspector”. ProPresenter7.10 is available for users with a ProPresenter+ renewal date past 07.13.22.
